The European Survivorship and Rehabilitation Symposium (ECRS) 2026

This will be the 27th Acta Oncologica Symposium and it will be the 8th time we organize the Acta Oncologica Symposium. Once again we invite clinicians, researchers and health administrators on all levels in Europe to join our symposium here in Copenhagen. We continue to believe in the analogue exchange of ideas, actual ongoing studies and concerns associated with the situation of cancer survivors. Thus, we meet in person and have the privilege to present and listen to science of high quality in the research field we share.

ECRS 2026 hopefully attracts a diverse group of participants, working with cancer rehabilitation and survivorship – including you! The Acta Oncologica Symposium will be a good way to become updated by top international scientists in our field but also an excellent opportunity for communication with colleagues. Take your time, listen, make notes, discuss, and reflect.

ECRS 2026 offers, as always, challenging international presentations – some keynotes are:

  • Decision regret in head- and neck cancer
  • Cancer and Mental health
  • Late effects in cancer survivors
  • Social inequality in cancer, are we even able to do anything
  • What is the future of psychosocial care for cancer survivors
  • Data driven care for hematology patients
  • How to move the fatigued patient

In 2026, we have dedicated a part of the ECRS symposium to present and discuss the results of the Danish Research Center for Equality in Cancer, COMPAS. How are we going to address this issue in the future?
